We booked for the first time a spa holiday in the Palace II in Františkovy Lázně double room COMFORT. Since, in our opinion, the room was not a COMFORT ROOM, on my friendly request whether we can get another room, the blonde absolutely incompetent employee at the reception laughed at me. Her unfriendly answer was, if we don't like this room, we can book a flat for an extra charge. The other staff in the hotel were very friendly and competent. We were also satisfied with the treatments. The beds were far apart and the mattresses very hard but we did not dare to complain. The food was rather plain. The soup was lukewarm, the dessert consisted of pre-packaged chocolate bars, an apple, etc. We will come back to Františkovy Lázně but definitely to another hotel!
