Construction of the Harvey Spa Hotel began in 1916 and was completed in 1918. The hotel was named after William Harvey, who first described blood circulation in the 17th century. Over time, the building began to deteriorate and no longer served its original purpose, and in 2012, Harvey and Metrostav embarked on a major renovation that saved the entire building from planned demolition.

Saunas: 

• A Finnish sauna is a type of sauna that uses the power of dry heat. Unlike steam saunas,which are known as wet saunas, Finnish saunas do not have moisture or steam.In fact, the humidity is usually kept around 5-20% and the temperature is set at around 80-100°C.
• A steam sauna is heated in a dry way, usually using hot stones or closed stoves.
