• The hotel was built in 1838 by Tadeáš Klinger, the coroner of the Teplá Monastery, as a two-story building and has been known as the Belvedere since its founding. Over time, it underwent several extensive renovations and acquired its current Art Nouveau-style appearance in 1905.
