Catering:
Gastronomy is an important part of your stay in Františkovy Lázně. Tasty and healthy meals are prepared by our chef and his team. The meals are served in the dining room or in the cosily furnished restaurant with a terrace. You can spend pleasant afternoons on the garden terrace with grill (seasonal operation). Here we serve freshly grilled dishes. Live music invites you to dance.

• We do not cook from semi-finished products, we always prepare food from fresh and high-quality ingredients (broths, base sauces, dumplings).We do not forget about the healthy lifestyle trend, which is why you will find here, among other things, dishes with a high proportion of vegetables, light meals, legumes, fish, meatless dishes and VEGETABLE MEAT, which comes from hunting from our own hunting grounds and game from the surrounding area, which is why these dishes are so tasty and guaranteed fresh. The "SOUS-VIDE" method is used to prepare most of the dishes in both the dining room and the restaurant. It is a healthy way of cooking at a low temperature that preserves the natural flavour of the ingredients, vitamins and minerals.

Spa & Wellness:
The aim of our spa and wellness stays is your well-being, relaxation and recreation. Modern wellness centre enchants you with many deals and possibilities. You can spend your free time in our beauty centre.
Only our hotel guests visit the wellness centre. All hotel guests can use our pool (outdoor and indoor), wellness centre with saunas, whirlpool, sunbathing lawn and relaxation zone with heated loungers free of charge.

CURETREATMENT
Our own doctor and specialist staff are available at all times.

In order to improve the state of health, we provide therapeutic treatments - physiotherapy, balneotherapy, massages, active procedures and other special procedures. We use the Štěpánka natural spring for baths and drinking cures. We use medicinal peat with a high content of soluble minerals and humic acids for compresses. All procedures take place directly in the Hotel Diana.

Our spa treatment and rehabilitation specialise in heart diseases, circulatory problems and diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

INDICATIONS

1. Diseases of the circulatory system

•     Ischaemic heart disease (NYHA I-II)
•     Post-myocardial infarction status (after 3 months)
•     Hypertensive disease WHO I-III
•     Arterial disease of the extremities:
•     -on atherosclerotic basis - ischemic disease of the lower limbs stage I- IIb.
•     -on inflammatory basis - vasculitis (only in remission).
•     Conditions after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) with stent implantation (after 3 months).
•     Conditions after reconstructive and revascularization operations on the vascular system of the limbs and abdominal aorta (after 3 months and follow-up examination).
•     Functional peripheral vascular disorders. Chronic lymphoedema

2. Diseases of the respiratory system

•     Recurrent lower respiratory tract inflammation and chronic inflammation of the respiratory tract - in convalescence and as prevention
•     Conditions following complicated pneumonia, post-COVID condition.

3. Nervous diseases

•     Root syndromes with irritation-loss syndrome.
•     Polyneuropathy
•     Haemiparesis of vascular origin with signs of recovering function (after resolution of acute stage of disease, not earlier than 6 months after hospitalisation, with accompaniment).
•     Multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating diseases in remission.
•     Conditions following peripheral nerve injuries and surgery with impaired mobility with signs of recovery of function (not earlier than 6 months after hospitalisation)

4. Diseases of the musculoskeletal system

•     Coxarthrosis, gonarthrosis, arthrosis in other localisations
•     Arthropathies
•     Rheumatoid arthritis I. to IV. Stages
•     Other seronegative arthritis (enteropathic arthritis, reactive - parainfectious, secondary arthritis)
•     Ankylosing spondylitis (Bechterew's disease)
•     Extra-articular rheumatism (in remission)
•     Diffuse connective tissue disease (in remission)
•     Painful syndromes of tendons, tendon sheaths, bursae, muscle tendons, skeletal muscles or joints
•     Chronic vertebrogenic algic syndrome of functional origin
•     Conditions following musculoskeletal trauma and orthopaedic surgery, including conditions following intervertebral disc surgery and spinal canal stenosis ( no sooner than 3 months after surgery)

Contraindications for comprehensive spa treatment for adults

We do not administer treatments to persons under 18 years of age.

• These are contraindications valid according to Decree No. 2/2015 on the establishment of professional criteria and other requirements for the provision of spa and rehabilitation care:
•     Human-to-human infectious diseases and bacillary diseases (acute Herpes zoster, Rotavirus).
•     All diseases in the acute stage and conditions in which destabilisation of the state of health can reasonably be expected.
•     Clinical signs of circulatory failure. Malignant arrhythmias.
•     Conditions after deep thrombosis within 3 months after resolution of the disease, conditions after superficial thrombophlebitis within 6 weeks after resolution of the disease.
• Cachexia of various etiologies preventing intensive rehabilitation (BMI less than 16.5).
•     Malignant tumours during and after treatment with clinically detectable signs of disease activity.
•     Uncompensated epilepsy.
•     Uncompensated hypertension
•     Active attacks or phases of psychoses and mental disorders with antisocial manifestations or reduced ability to communicate or inability to comply with the treatment rules of the health facility.
•     Grade II and III urinary incontinence and faecal incontinence.
•     Pregnancy.
